DEAR PARENTS AND STUDENTS: This page is an attempt by the teachers at Parrott Middle School to give your child a second chance to improve any grade that is a D or F for the First Nine Week Grading period.
GRADE Repair
Students can ask their math teacher for assessments (quizzes and tests) for which he or she did not receive a grade of 70 or higher. Students who choose to try and improve their grade on that quiz can choose to complete the IXL lessons below each quiz. They must receive a smart score of 80 on each section to review the topics covered on that quiz. After the student has completed those assignments, they must let the teacher know. The teacher will schedule a time for the student to come in during either lunch, planning, or an elective class to re-take the quiz. If the student receives a better score the second time, the grade will be changed to that score, but no higher than a 70.
